New Residence HallThis new four story, suite-style residence hall features 540 beds and is designed to meet the needs of today’s independent student. The hall opened in the fall 2013 academic semester. Each suite has two bedrooms, a living room, sink area, and bathroom with shower. There is a lounge area, kitchen, and laundry facilities on each floor. The first floor has main desk, staff offices, a multi-purpose room, and outdoor courtyard area for relaxation. It is located on the corner of Neal Street and Culver Street and puts the student within walking distance of the Morris Recreation Center and the Rayburn Student Center.
Lounges are available on each floor for residents to meet and socialize.
Residential Living and Learning provides free laundry for all New Residence Hall residents. Laundry facilities are located in the middle of the north and south hallways on each floor.
The New Residence Hall staff is composed of a hall director and 13 resident assistants.

All facilities in University Housing are non-smoking.
The only pets allowed are fish in a 10 gallon aquarium (maximum size). One aquarium per resident.
Items not allowed in housing:
Candles/Incense/Oil Lamps (anything with an open flame)
Portable Heaters (anything with heat coils)
Any other cooking appliances with the exception of a microwave
