For Undergraduate Students Interested in Middle Level or Secondary Level Mathematics or Science Certification

For GRADUATE STUDENTS Interested in MMT- Master Mathematics Teacher Certification Or Masters of Education with an emphasis in Mathematics Education or Science Education
Participants Will Receive:
- Tuition paid for up to 6 qualified Math, Science, or Education courses at TAMU-C
- Stipends for attendance in summer and monthly learning academies
- Classroom Supplies
- Laptop and other project related technologies
- Travel allowance for CAMT or CAST conference
The Academy allows you to take courses appropriate for your certification, with a separate Academy course in the summer. Required Learning Academy seminars will be held twice a month (one electronic, one face-face) and focus on enhancing content and pedagogical skills of all participants. Participants must agree to teach for two years in a high need school upon certification. Participants must complete certification by August 2011.
