Amy Bassham, Assistant to the Vice President
Amy manages the business operations for the office of Institutional Advancement and provides support to all areas of the division. After graduating in 2003, Amy joined the University full-time. Her background with the University includes both academic and administrative experience which is invaluable in her role. Wayne Davenport, B.S. ’03 and M.S. ’05, returned to the university as a director of development to help high school students have the same opportunity to attend A&M-Commerce. As a student, he enjoyed being a part of the agriculture department, the closeness of the students and faculty, and all the memories from his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho.
Wyman Williams, Director of Development

Wyman Williams, B.S. '69, has lived in Commerce since he was three years old. He has had the rare opportunity to attend first grade through college in Commerce, as well as own a long-time family business in town. Wyman finds it an honor to serve as a director of development after serving the university for so many years in support roles including the Foundation Board of Directors.
Devon Herrman, Associate Director of Development

Devon received her B.S. and K-12 teaching certificate in 2012, and will complete her M.S. degree in 2013. She was captain of the Lion's soccer team and also served as President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Devon sees the importance and value of higher education learning opportunities through leadership and service, and enjoys the sense of community and nurturing environment she has experienced at A&M Commerce as both a student and a staff member.

Taylor Fore, Associate Director of Development
Taylor earned his B.S. in 2011 and his M.S. degree in 2012. As a student he ws a member of the football team and served as the Student Body President from 2010-2011. Taylor is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the board of directors for the Chamber of Commerce.
As Associate Director of Annual and Special Programs, Stephanie’s responsibilities include contacting alumni, friends, faculty, staff and parents through direct mail, phonathons or special events to encourage them to make annual donations to Texas A&M University-Commerce. Annual gifts made to the Annual Fund provide A&M-Commerce with the flexibility to enhance academic programs, strengthen student programs and scholarships and invest in faculty and staff.
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science from A&M-Commerce in 2005, and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Higher Education-Education Administration.
Bethany Yates, Coordinator of Communication Outreach
Bethany earned her B.S. in 2011 from Texas A&M University - Commerce and is currently working on her M.B.A. As a student Bethany was active in Mayo College, the Golden Leos and several social organizations.
As Coordinator of Communication Outreach Bethany is responsible for working with TAMU-C's student callers, the Mane Messengers. The Mane Messengers make personal phone calls to Lion alumni and University friends. These phone calls build alumni relations and engage alumni with current University growth and activity.
Brenda Morris, Director of Advancement Services
The Advancement Services functions include coordination of the stewardship program, endowments and scholarships, prospect management, donor recognition, constituent management and other related activities. She also serves as a liaison to the Texas A&M University-Commerce Foundation. She is an experienced project manager with a background in Information Technology. Brenda is excited to support the fundraising arm of the University where she gets to interact daily with the past, present, and future of the University -- the faithful alumni and friends who are providing for the students of today who will in turn enable future students to receive an education. Stacey Preas, Coordinator of Gift Processing
Stacey coordinates and processes contributions made to the Texas A&M University-Foundation. She is responsible for overseeing the Foundation excellence accounts and assisting departments with deposits and expenditures from these accounts. Stacey is a lifelong resident of Commerce. She came to Texas A&M University-Commerce in 1999 with 10 years experience in banking.
