Following a successful career in corporate management, Shonda Gibson returned to Texas A&M University-Commerce and completed the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Management in 2008; and in 2009, the Master of Business Administration with dual concentrations in Economics and Management. Upon completion of her business related degrees, she sought to combine her years of experience and expertise in business with a greater knowledge of organizational psychology. In December 2010, she was accepted into the A&M-Commerce Psychology doctoral program and completed the Master of Science in Psychology in December, 2011; and completed the Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology in December 2012. Shonda has worked as a research and teaching assistant at A&M-Commerce College of Business and Entrepreneurship since 2008, and has worked under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Reysen in the Global Research lab since 2010. Her research interests include organizational behavior and identity, diversity and culture, and strategic management. Dr. Gibson currently serves as Executive Director of Global Learning and is currently coordinating A&M-Commerce efforts toward its Quality Enhancement Plan. Additionally, she teaches both psychology and management courses at A&M-Commerce.

Ms. Mara Busby, Independent SAP Consultant at Raytheon
Mara Busby has been working primarily in the Aerospace and Defense Industry with Fortune 100 companies delivering SAP ERP solutions over the past 13 years. Currently, she provides consulting services as an independent contractor to Raytheon Corporation, in Garland, TX where she specializes in Requirements Management, System Design, and bridging the gap between the customers/user community and the more technical behind-the-curtain gurus. She graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2000 with a degree in Management Information Systems and received her MBA last year also from A&M-Commerce. Mara has had exposure to international business applications as well as domestic. She is a firm believer in having a balance between her professional life and her personal life. On the weekends, if she is not meeting a commitment to her customer, Mara is trading in her nerdy glasses for safety glasses and a tool belt as she has an undying passion for major home renovation projects – a true “DIYer”. Mara currently resides in Rockwall, TX and is always open to making new professional acquaintances with an active presence on LinkedIn.

Mr. Gordon Allen, Retired Executive of GTE Card Services
Gordon is a “redirected” businessman. These days his focus is his church and family (three children, six grandchildren ages 18 to five, and parents). He also manages investments in the stock market and land holdings. In addition, he is a Limited Partner in Bolsa Restaurant, one of Dallas’ Four Star Dining experiences. Gordon and his wife, Rhonda, are active with Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and other community organizations. They also are great partners in life, with a love for golfing and travelling. Gordon has held several positions with GTE Corporation (now known as Verizon Corporation). He has been an account manager, national sales manager, national group manager for Voice Products, and served as national group manager for all Data Products for GTE. Gordon conceived, developed, and implemented the creation of GTE Card Services. During his time as President of Card Services, a nationwide program of Co-Branded Credit Cards were development and implemented to include Pre-Paid Calling Cards and integration of calling cards with cellular technology. Mr. Allen received his Associate Business Degree from Texarkana College in 1969, his BBA in Finance from A&M-Commerce in 1972, and his MBA in Finance from A&M-Commerce in 1984.
