The Hobbit Public Reading on March 1

COMMERCE, TX—The Department of Literature and Languages and Gee Library at Texas A&M University-Commerce are hosting a public reading of The Hobbit at 12:30 p.m. on March 1 at Gee Library.
This event is part of The Year of The Hobbit, a year of celebrating the worlds and works of J.R.R. Tolkien. It is free and open to the public.
The reading schedule is as follows:
5:00-6:45 (or until the end).
Published in 1937 by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit is a book about the adventures of Bilbo Baggins—a strange creature called a hobbit. The 75th anniversary of the book is coming up on September 21, 2012, and the first of two live-action films based on the novel and directed by Peter Jackson will be released in theatres December 2012.
