- College Board
Great site for starting points, twenty questions to ask the counselor, time management and study skills, college success, financial aid easy planner, and paying for college.
This site includes detailed checklists for students to use each year of high school to prepare for college. There is also other invaluable information including college terminology, what college life is about, and a link to the college answer guy.
- Every Chance...Every Texan
This site provides information about Texas careers and educational requirements, tools for parents, counselors, including scholarship information and index, and state financial aid resources that are available.
This site provides detailed steps necessary to plan for college that should be completed each year (middle school through senior year). A site for mentors also addresses financial aid, common college myths, success stories, and a newsletter. This site is also available in Spanish. One of our favorite sites!

This site details programs and incentives for students to finance their education.
- Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board General Education Core Web Center
This site provides detailed information of general education core curricula at community colleges and universities.
