February 26, 2013- Meeting & Social- Reconnect at The Club in the Sam Rayburn Student Center: Let's get together, talk, plan, then enjoy the m ovie Wreck It Ralph together! Meet & Greet begins at 6pm.
April 3, 2013 Induction- Sam Rayburn Student Center- Commerce, TX
Last year's Spring 2012 induction was a record year for our chapter and we received the Silver Delta Award from Alpha Lambda Delta for our increase in membership! But adding membership is just the start...we want to keep our involvement both on and off campus alive at CISD and at Orientation and Mane Event Preview Day. For this, we need the continued enthusiasm of ALL our members! CURRENT MEMBERS: join us April 3, 2013 for our 2013 induction. We will again be soliciting volunteers from organizations on campus as well as from the community to join us in welcoming this group of recognized students. We will be recognizing many of our SENIORS who will be graduating this semester. Come join them in this monumental induction! We hope to set a new record and make some new fantastic friends.

Fall 2012 Events
Phi Eta Sigma National Conference and Workshops- Oct. 4th-7th-A delegation of officers and myself will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to represent our school. We received two awards at the conference!
Ice Cream Social- Oct. 16th- One Stop Shop- Get to know your members! Come one come all! I would love to see a record number of members in attendance! We will be hosting a group of 4H students from Greenville, TX.
ALD National Workshop-San Antonio- Oct. 19th & 20th- A delegation of officers and Pamela Webster will travel to San Antonio Texas to represent our school at the ALD Workshop.
Mane Event Preview Day- Oct. 20- We will be setting up and a table and providing information to parents/students about PES/ALD @ A&M-Commerce.
Spring 2012 Induction March 21, 2012
We invite family and friends of our inductees to join us for the evening at the Sam Rayburn Student Center at 7pm.
People are initiated into the Texas A&M University-Commerce chapter of Phi Eta Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta on the basis of achieving a 3.5 or above GPA during their freshman year, after they complete twelve to twenty-four hours at the university.

Phi Eta Sigma is strictly an honor society. It emphasizes academic excellence and excellence in other areas. Members are also eligible to receive undergraduate and graduate scholarships that the national organization offers. The national organization awards more than $160,000 in scholarships each year. Any member interested in applying for one of these scholarships should contact the faculty adviser very early in the spring semester. We have honor cords and medallions for members to wear at graduation. The cost is $8 each. Membership requirements for Alpha Lambda Delta are the same as those for Phi Eta Sigma: a GPA of 3.5 at the end of one semester of freshman work or at the end of the freshman year.To visit the homepage of the national office of Alpha Lambda Delta, click here. At the first Student Organization Awards Banquet, held on April 22, 2004, Phi Eta Sigma received the award for highest student organization grade point average in the honor societies category.
