Call for Proposals
Let’s Shout! It’s time for the Bill Martin Jr Memorial Symposium
2013 Call for Proposals Now Closed
Please consider lending your expertise to the Bill Martin Jr Symposium by being a presenter for a forty-five minute break-out session. Topics appropriate for this conference range from sessions on children’s/adolescent literature, pedagogy, classroom management, technology, math, science, social studies, reading, and writing to specialty areas (Special Education, English Language Learners, or Gifted & Talented). We encourage sessions targeted for specific grade levels such as EC-6, 4th-8th, or secondary.
We welcome proposals that honor the legacy of Bill Martin Jr, which allows children to experience the fun of language through reading books.
Proposals will be accepted from February 1st through March 15th through our online proposal website:
CALL FOR PROPOSALS IS NOW CLOSED.
Presenters will receive acceptance notifications by March 29th. Presenters register for the Symposium at the reduced presenter rate of $30.
