There are two primary benefits of A&M-Commerce’s AMTRAC Program over other non-university based alternative certification programs.
You are acquiring graduate level course credit that may be applied to a master’s degree in the same competitive, accelerated format. Other non-university based programs will offer training that leads to initial certification, but that training may not be delivered in graduate-level semester credit format that shows up on your college/university transcript. An advanced degree may lead to a higher teaching salary.
Once you have been admitted to our AC Program, you may apply for financial aid. You may qualify for financial assistance towards completion of teacher certification. Consult Financial Aid Office or the Loan Office. Recipients of financial aid must enroll in six hours per semester.
