Virgil Scott's DSVC 1989 professional show poster was included in the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, 50 Year Commemorative Poster Exhibition at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.

October 5th, 2007:
Virgil Scott was one of eight presenters invited to speak at the Gumi International Industrial Design Forum in Gumi City, South Korea. His lecture focused on creative methodologies, conceptual product development and the blurred nature of design disciplines that currently exist.
March 13, 2008:
Josephine Durkin will give a lecture at Wichita State University's School of Art and Design. The lecture will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the McKnight Art Center. A reception will follow at 5:00 p.m.
