A few reminders on summer financial aid eligibility.
The summer semester is made up of Summer I, Summer II, and a 10 week session. All students need to be enrolled in no less than 6 credit hours to receive financial aid. The 6 credit hours can be attempted in any of the following most common combinations*
6 hrs. of enrollment in summer I with 0 hrs. of enrollment in summer II
0 hrs. of enrollment in summer I with 6 hrs. of enrollment in summer II
3 hrs. of enrollment in summer I with 3 hrs. of enrollment in summer II
*if this combination is done, students must make sure that enrollment and attendance in summer II is achieved. Otherwise, any financial aid issued at the beginning of summer I will be canceled and repayment will be required.
If you are taking a combination of 4 + 2 credits or 2 + 4 credits, during the summer sessions, you will need to email FAO.Web@tamuc.edu for your summer aid to be processed correctly.
Transient students are not eligible to receive financial aid from A&M-Commerce. Contact the financial aid office at your school.
